Getting the Right Idea

How close are you from catching your dreams? You've always heard the term, "Go chase your  dreams." Wouldn't you rather catch them? Hopefully someday after I create my own shoe I can literally lace them up and catch my dream of being involved or somewhat connected with the sneaker world that I so much admire.
This project is a stepping stone to one of my many dreams that I have waited way to long to tackle. I've always had the ideas. I've always had the know how. I just never had the motivation to dig deep and pry open this hobby of mine and get creative with it and maybe go out on a limb or two and get connected with some amazing people that could change the dynamics of this "school project" and really overhaul my ideas into a potential realization.
Counting them up I have around 50 or more different shoes ranging from basketball shoes, baseball and football cleats, running, everyday and even luxury-es shoes . Around 20 of them I wear daily as they take up most of my closet, but as for the rest of them I either have damaged them to an extent to where they aren't able to perform anymore in which I have in sense "retired" them. Other than that I usually just save older ones for outside jobs that I wouldn't mind if they got ruffed up or dirtied.
Getting inside my ideas for this project you first have to know my love for Michael Jordan, not only for what he did in his remarkable 15 year NBA career; but what he did to the sneaker game intertwined with his ability to make you undoubtably believe in his sheer will to win. Allowed him to single handedly take control of how youngsters saw the game and what they wanted to have on there feet as they showcased there abilities on the hardwood for more than 30 years.
I'm going to try and contact tinker Hatfield who is the mastermind behind the iconic creation of the original shoes that Michael Jordan himself laced up and conquered defeat by himself. In the mean time I am going to have original sketches and ideas to why my shoe is either going to make or break ground in the present and future shoe game.
